1. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

• “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Houseboats in Srinagar
• “User”, “Customer”, “You” refers to any individual accessing the website or using our services
• “Services” refers to houseboat bookings, accommodation arrangements, travel assistance, and related offerings

2. Booking Terms

2.1 Booking Confirmation

• All bookings are strictly subject to availability
• A booking shall be considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment
• Confirmation details will be shared via email, WhatsApp, or phone

2.2 Pricing

• Prices are dynamic and may change without prior notice
• Final applicable price will be confirmed at the time of booking
• Prices may vary based on season, demand, duration of stay, and special requirements

2.3 Payment

• We accept payments via UPI, bank transfer, and approved payment gateways
• A partial or full advance payment may be required to confirm bookings
• The remaining balance, if any, must be cleared prior to or at the time of check-in

3. Check-In & Check-Out Policy

• Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM
• Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

4. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must present valid government-issued identification at check-in
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay
• Any form of illegal activity, substance abuse, or misconduct is strictly prohibited
• The management reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund in case of violation of rules

5. Houseboat Rules & Services

• Meals and inclusions vary depending on the selected package
• Amenities such as heating, Wi-Fi, and electricity may depend on weather and local conditions
• Temporary interruptions due to power cuts or natural conditions are beyond our control

6. Liability Disclaimer

We act solely as an intermediary between guests and houseboat owners/operators. We shall not be held responsible for:

• Personal injury, loss, or damage during the stay
• Delays or disruptions caused by weather, strikes, or governmental actions
• Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in service due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Political unrest or security issues
• Government restrictions or regulatory actions
• Extreme weather conditions

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring its responsible use.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, design, and layout, is the intellectual property of Houseboats in Srinagar and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
